Head Coach - John Abrami
Hello, this is John Abrami or Coach AB. I am looking forward to a great summer with the Chaparral Sea Otters. I have a long history of coaching, I has been an All-Star coach, Zone Coach, served on the board of directors, Coach of the Year and led his team to a LSC championship. I have coached at every level from beginning age group swimmer to Olympic Trials, Including two at the 2021 Olympic Trials. I have had swimmers final at Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals and Olympic Trials. In open water swimming my athletes have excelled at many of the top national open water races, including multiple Masters national championships and USA Swimming’s 5K National Championship. In triathlon I have coached WTS athletes as well as competitors at USA Triathlon Nationals, World Championships and Ironman World Championships. My goal is to build a bigger, faster, healthier and happier athletic community.
